Agreement Signed in Riyadh
In June 2026, the Centre for Space Futures (CSF) announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation with Novaspace and SpaceTech Gulf. The signing took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking a new step in international collaboration within the space sector.
The memorandum outlines the joint development of a Global Space Capability Mapping Dashboard. This tool is intended to collect and visualise data on the capabilities of various space‑faring nations and organisations.
By consolidating information on launch systems, satellite constellations, ground infrastructure and research activities, the dashboard aims to provide a clear overview of the current state of global space capabilities.
CSF, Novaspace and SpaceTech Gulf intend to work together on data collection, validation and the technical design of the platform. The partners plan to make the dashboard accessible to policymakers, industry analysts and the broader public.
The initiative reflects a growing interest in transparent, comparable information that can support strategic planning and investment decisions in the rapidly evolving space economy.
