Two Missions in Focus
The US space agency has invited media representatives to cover two forthcoming flights. Accreditation for journalists is now available and covers both a scientific observatory and a crewed spaceflight.
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is scheduled to launch no earlier than 7:20 a.m. local time (EDT) on Sunday, August 30. A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket is planned to carry it from Launch Complex 39A.
Additional Details on Crew-13
In addition to the telescope launch, the agency is also offering media access for Crew-13, a SpaceX flight under NASA contract that will transport astronauts to space. This mission is also planned within the next few months, though specific dates have not yet been announced.
