Facility Overview
The Flight Dynamics Research Facility is NASA’s first new wind tunnel in over 40 years and is located at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.
The tunnel will enable aerodynamic testing for aircraft and spacecraft, supporting flight dynamics research.

On Friday, July 31, a media tour and ribbon‑cutting ceremony will take place, with attendance limited to in‑person participants only.
