Tom Percy’s Contribution to the Human Landing System Program
Tom Percy serves as the manager of systems engineering and integration for NASA’s Human Landing System Program. In this position he coordinates the technical interfaces between the program and its industrial partners, ensuring that the various subsystems meet the required performance and safety standards.
One of the key external partners in the effort is SpaceX, with which Percy works closely to align the landing vehicle design with NASA’s exploration objectives. His role acts as a central point of contact for exchanging requirements, schedule updates, and technical data between the agency and the contractor.
