Discovery of an exceptionally faint galaxy
An international team of astronomers has reported a previously unknown dwarf galaxy in the vicinity of the Andromeda galaxy (M31). Designated And XXXVI, the object appears to be one of the faintest satellite galaxies detected around Andromeda to date.
