Deal completed
Spaceflight company Voyager Technologies has formally closed its purchase of Astrobotic Technology, a firm focused on building infrastructure for lunar operations. The transaction makes Astrobotic a fully owned part of Voyager's expanding space portfolio.
Timing of the transaction
The closing took place only a few weeks after Astrobotic secured two robotic lunar lander missions from NASA. The awards were granted through competitive selection by the U.S. space agency prior to the ownership change.
- Voyager Technologies is now the owner of Astrobotic Technology
- Astrobotic specializes in lunar infrastructure
- Two NASA lander missions were awarded shortly before the acquisition
The combined entity brings together specialized lunar engineering capabilities and the broader resources of a larger space systems company. Industry observers expect the newly awarded NASA contracts to continue under the merged organization without disruption.
