Images from flight day six
During the sixth day of the Artemis II mission, the astronauts recorded a photograph showing the Moon half illuminated by the Sun. The clear boundary between light and darkness, known as the terminator, creates a pronounced contrast that accentuates the Moon’s rocky and uneven terrain.
