Commercial Space Federation Welcomes Three New Associate Members
The Commercial Space Federation (CSF) announced that Overview Energy, Loft Orbital, and Star Catcher have been admitted as associate members effective immediately. The decision was made during a membership meeting held in Washington, D.C. on July 21, 2026.
The CSF is a cross‑industry association representing companies active in the commercial space sector. It advocates for its members before government agencies, facilitates knowledge sharing, and helps shape policies that enable sector growth.
As associate members, the three firms gain access to CSF networking events, can participate in working groups, and receive early briefings on legislative initiatives. Overview Energy is developing concepts for space‑based power generation, Loft Orbital provides platforms for rapid satellite deployment, and Star Catcher focuses on technologies for maintaining orbital safety.
The CSF emphasizes that expanding its membership broadens the range of technologies represented and strengthens the voice of commercial space in policy discussions.
CSF leadership said the new members could contribute innovative solutions for future space missions, boosting the competitiveness of the U.S. space industry. Additional admissions are planned for the coming months to continually grow the network.
