Expedition 73 welcome home ceremony
On 16 June, crew members from several recent missions gathered at Space Center Houston to mark the return of astronauts and cosmonauts from the International Space Station (ISS). The event recognized the ground personnel whose work made the flights possible.
Attendees included representatives from NASA‑SpaceX missions Crew‑10 and Crew‑11 as well as the Russian Soyuz MS‑27 flight. Speakers described scientific research, technical challenges and daily life aboard the orbiting laboratory.
The crew emphasized the importance of international cooperation, noting how diverse expertise and continuous ground support drive progress in fields such as medicine, materials science and Earth observation. “We benefit from the combined knowledge of all partners,” said a Crew‑10 pilot.
