New Ultra‑Faint Dwarf Galaxy Detected Near Andromeda
An international team of astronomers has reported the discovery of a previously unknown dwarf galaxy orbiting the Andromeda galaxy (M31). Designated And 35, the object belongs to the class of ultra‑faint dwarf galaxies (UFDG) and exhibits an exceptionally low stellar mass.
