Interview with Jeff Janicik
Journalist Mike Gruss met Jeff Janicik, founder and chairman of Innoflight, to discuss the electronic foundations of space‑based communication networks.
Janicik explained that Innoflight supplies custom‑built circuit boards and processors used in the Golden Dome project, which aims to create a global early‑warning system for space objects.
He further described how the same technology is employed in the Artemis program to maintain reliable links between lunar surface assets, orbiters and Earth.
Finally, Janicik emphasized that the Space Development Agency must handle massive data volumes and that Innoflight meets this demand through scalable architectures and high‑performance chips.
He views this capability as a cornerstone for future missions where the dependability and scalability of onboard electronics can determine mission success.
