Expanding across continents
Munich‑based Isar Aerospace has entered a multi‑year agreement with Maritime Launch Services to operate from the Spaceport Nova Scotia in Canada. The partnership gives the German company a dedicated launch site on North America’s east coast.
Financial terms
The contract is valued at approximately US$150 million and includes launch pad access, technical assistance and integration of Isar‑Aerospace launch vehicles into the existing infrastructure. The arrangement is intended to increase production capacity and provide a second continent as an operational base.

Having a launch facility in North America allows Isar Aerospace to broaden its customer base and offer more flexible scheduling. The additional site reduces reliance on European ranges and enhances the company’s competitiveness in the growing small‑satellite market.
