LandSpace announced this week a major milestone for Chinese commercial rocketry, as the first stage of the Zhuque-3 rocket performed a landing maneuver.
According to reports, the stage touched down successfully on the designated landing pad but subsequently lost stability and toppled over.
The event demonstrates that the return‑and‑landing technology for the rocket stage is functional, while highlighting the need for further work on post‑landing stability.
LandSpace intends to analyse the collected data and refine the control systems and landing gear to improve the outcome of future tests.
