LatConnect 60 Strengthens India Presence for SWIRSAT via NSIL Deal and GeoSyze Partnership
At the Bengaluru Space Expo 2026 on September 7, Australian Earth‑observation company LatConnect 60 disclosed two strategic agreements aimed at boosting the market reach of its SWIRSAT system in India.
The first pact was signed with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of ISRO, and covers joint ground‑station operations and exchange of payload data. The second agreement teams LatConnect 60 with GeoSyze, an Indian analytics and services firm, which will handle processing and marketing of SWIRSAT imagery for local customers.
Through the NSIL collaboration, LatConnect 60 gains access to established receiving stations, markedly cutting data‑latency. The GeoSyze partnership enables tailored processing of short‑wave infrared data, a product in high demand for agriculture monitoring, water‑resource management and urban planning across South Asia.
Officials from both sides stress that the alliances not only accelerate SWIRSAT sales but also open avenues for joint research and development. Consequently, LatConnect 60 positions itself as a key supplier of high‑resolution Earth‑observation data in India’s fast‑growing market for space‑based information services.
