Launch Overview
Four launch sites will be active over the next seven days: China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Rocket Lab’s New Zealand pad, California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base and Florida’s Kennedy Space Center.
Chinese Mission
China is scheduled to launch a weather satellite into low Earth orbit using a Long March 2D from Jiuquan, marking another step in its civilian space program.
Rocket Lab
Rocket Lab will conduct an Electron launch from its New Zealand launch complex, carrying several small payloads for commercial customers into a sun‑synchronous orbit.
Starlink Flights
Three Starlink missions are slated for the week. Two will lift off from Cape Canaveral in Florida and one from Vandenberg in California, all aboard SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets to expand the broadband satellite constellation.
Additional Activities
- A military communications satellite will launch from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.
- A test flight of a new launch vehicle is planned from Space Launch Complex 2 in Florida.
