During the FIFA World Cup, NASA set up a free interactive exhibit in East Downtown Houston as part of the FIFA Fan Festival™.
The exhibit ran from June 11 to July 19 and drew more than 500,000 guests who learned how the agency’s missions, research and technology benefit life on Earth.
Highlighted topics included the Artemis program, the planned Moon Base and the International Space Station (ISS). Interactive displays gave visitors insight into the goals of these programs and their societal benefits.
The effort aims to raise public interest in space exploration and show how space technology translates into everyday advantages.
