Rocket Issue Delays First Orbital Launch from UK Spaceport
During routine ground checks at the SaxaVord Spaceport in Scotland, engineers from Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) identified an anomaly with the launch vehicle that requires further analysis.
The company said the issue was uncovered while preparing for what would have been the United Kingdom’s inaugural orbital launch attempt.
RFA emphasized that safety is the top priority and that the vehicle will not be cleared for flight until the problem is fully understood and resolved.
Although the setback pushes back the timeline, the spaceport remains operational and ready to support future missions once the investigation concludes.
