Serbia becomes 69th participant
During a ceremony held at the headquarters of the United States space agency in Washington on Thursday, the Republic of Serbia added its signature to the Artemis Accords. The step makes the Balkan state the 69th country to enter a broadening coalition dedicated to the peaceful, open, and responsible use of outer space.
The framework brings together nations that share common principles for activities beyond Earth orbit, including lunar and Martian exploration. By joining, Serbia aligns itself with a set of non-binding guidelines intended to foster international coordination.
