On August 11, SpaceX carried out another launch of its Starlink broadband constellation, sending 24 satellites into orbit from a launch site in California.
The mission marked the second Starlink launch of the day, underscoring the company’s high launch cadence as it builds out its global internet network.
The newly deployed satellites will join the existing Starlink fleet, which aims to provide high‑speed, low‑latency connectivity to users worldwide, including underserved and remote areas.
SpaceX notes that the launch proceeded according to plan and that the satellites will undergo checkout before taking up their operational slots in the constellation.
