To achieve this, Whiting called on the domestic aerospace and defense industry to develop technical solutions capable of disabling such nodes. He urged companies to explore a range of approaches, from electronic warfare and cyber‑operations to kinetic interceptors, while ensuring compliance with international law and norms. The general stressed that innovation must be accelerated to keep pace with the rapid expansion of commercial and military satellite fleets.
